A Dark Palette & Macabre Content

Hurwitz’s style reminds me of a little mix between Christopher Moeller and Phil Hale. The heavy use of a darker palette heavy in grays and blues adds a lot of atmosphere to his supernaturally charged work. His landscapes are also very compelling with a great sense of scale and a cold sense of removal. Check out more of his work at his website Demonui.

I love these pieces! They remind me of Kurt Vonnegut for some reason, even though they don't look like his sketches...
