Why You Should Know It: Tiny Titans is the perfect book to hand to a child 4 and up regardless of whether you want something slightly super heroic or just fun for kids. The books take the familiar faces of the Teen Titans comics and reinterprets them in a bright super cartoony style where the biggest threats they have to deal with are their homework and the Principal.

This is a title that I try to overstock the single issues of simply because I always feel that I can safely hand them to a parent or young child and not have to double check the content. The stories are all short and easy to follow, the art bright and colorful, and there are activities and games included as well. I also have a large amount of adult customers who love the book as well because really, you can't go wrong with the dark god/supervillain Darkseid being the lunch lady.

Personal Review:

I've liked Baltazar's work ever since I first discovered his creator owned series Patrick the Wolf Boy. He tells quick fun stories that are appropriate for younger readers but usually have little clever jokes for adults as well. Tiny Titans is definitely for younger readers, but the fact that Deathstroke the Terminator is the school Principal is a treat for the big kids as well.
